Seun Egbegbe, a well-known Nollywood filmmaker and producer, faced rejection from his colleagues as he celebrated his birthday, praizemedia report.
Seun’s reputation took a significant blow after he was found guilty of fraud by a Federal High Court in Lagos. He had spent a total of six years and eight months in prison custody.

Pm recalls that On February 10, 2017, Egbegbe was remanded in custody following allegations of obtaining money from approximately 40 Bureaux De Change operators in various locations across Lagos. This deceitful act took place over a span of two years, from 2015 to 2017.
His modus operandi involved deceiving the BDC operators by falsely claiming that he possessed Nigerian currency that he wished to exchange for foreign currencies.
On May 31st, Seun Egbegbe, a 46-year-old controversial figure in the Yoruba movie industry, celebrated his birthday. However, despite his efforts to share his joy on social media, many of his colleagues refrained from commenting or posting birthday wishes on their own social media pages.
Undeterred by the lack of external celebration, Seun took it upon himself to mark the occasion. He shared a photo of himself along with a caption that read, “I am plus 1 today. Happy birthday to me.”
